Cosplay & Cosplayphotography

My passion for cosplay stems from my love of photography, creativity, and the joy of connecting with like-minded individuals. For me, cosplay is much more than wearing a costume – it’s about crafting something unique, stepping into a character’s shoes, and bringing them to life through photos, videos, or even performances.

While the process of designing and creating a costume is incredibly rewarding, the real magic happens at conventions. Walking around in character, receiving compliments, hearing people express their love for the show or game your character is from, and being asked for photos or videos is an unforgettable experience. It’s those moments of connection, whether a brief conversation or the start of a lasting friendship (or even a relationship), that make cosplay truly special.

Cosplay also ties into my love for photography, where I primarily see myself as a portrait photographer. Within the cosplay community, this naturally extends to cosplay photography, which takes everything I love about portrait photography and turns it up to 11. It’s a playground for creativity – where editing, lighting, angles, and poses can be pushed to new levels of imagination. In cosplay photography, I can let my brain go wild, experimenting with ideas and techniques that wouldn’t typically fit within traditional portraiture. It’s a space where creativity knows no bounds, and every shoot is an opportunity to capture the essence of a character while bringing my unique perspective to the final image.

Cosplay is a way to express creativity, build confidence, and foster a sense of community – one costume and one connection at a time.

Gaming, YouTube & Livestreaming

My journey with gaming began early, starting with classics like Super Mario 64, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2, and Need for Speed 3. Over the years, my passion evolved into two distinct paths: competitive gaming and exploring innovative indie games.

On one side, I thrive on competition. Whether it’s the intense teamwork of Counter-Strike or the strategic depth of League of Legends, I love pushing myself to the limit – channeling all my focus, energy, and determination into every match. On the other side, I enjoy discovering the creative brilliance of indie games. I’m fascinated by the unique mechanics, unconventional ideas, and fresh perspectives small development teams bring to gaming. Playing these games, and occasionally functioning as a tester, has deepened my appreciation for the artistry and ingenuity in game design.

YouTube and Twitch have always been part of my gaming experience. From watching creators who inspire and entertain to dreaming of creating my own content, these platforms sparked a desire to share my journey. Over the years, I started (and eventually deleted) several YouTube channels, driven by the passion to entertain, educate, and connect with others. While life doesn’t currently allow the time to dedicate to video production, livestreaming has become my creative outlet. It’s my way of staying connected to that dream and sharing moments of joy, competition, and discovery with an audience.

Knowledge & Open minded.

For me, the most important thing in life is learning – constantly, intentionally, and openly. Whether it’s facts, skills, new ways of solving problems, or entirely different perspectives, the pursuit of knowledge is what drives us forward. It’s not about chasing endless growth for its own sake but about understanding our current situation, identifying our needs, and working toward the best possible solutions for our goals.

One phrase I can’t stand is, “It’s always been like this. It stays that way.” To me, that mindset is the opposite of progress. It locks us into outdated processes or beliefs that may no longer serve us. Instead, we should regularly evaluate and reimagine the systems we rely on, asking ourselves: “Is there a better way? Have new ideas or tools emerged that we could explore?” Staying on the edge – or even leading it – requires us to remain open to change and ready to adapt.

The greatest gift we can give one another is knowledge. When we share what we know and work together, incredible things can happen. Even if a project fails, it’s never a waste. Failure teaches us something new – about the task, the process, and even ourselves. And that’s okay. Failing is human. What matters most is to face failure with openness and honesty, acknowledging what went wrong and using it as a stepping stone to grow.

This mindset isn’t just about self-improvement; it’s about collaboration and innovation. By valuing knowledge and staying open-minded, we create environments where creativity thrives, solutions evolve, and people feel empowered to take risks and embrace the lessons that come with them.
