I was tasked with the design and creative direction of the LinkedIn posts and chose to integrate Midjourney AI into our process. I felt the cutting-edge technology of AI wouldn’t look misplaced in the fiber optic industry, which is based on advanced technology.
Working with our team’s copywriter, we arranged for the content of a recent blog post to be repurposed into sharable sections. By adding a link to the blog post in the comments of the social post, we ensured that we directed more traffic to the NBG website.
It’s important to note here that the social posts were more than a vessel to link to the blog post; they were standalone posts that had to entertain and educate our followers on the nature of fiber optic sensing.
With the approved copy for the social posts, I arranged the content into individual slides to ensure the complex information was easily accessible to our LinkedIn followers. I created a carousel-style social post containing the copy and the AI images that I created.
The result is a visually striking and deeply informative series of posts that performed exceptionally well on NBG’s LinkedIn page.
This project required me to step into more of a senior decision-making role, working with the copywriting and social analytics team to create aesthetically pleasing and on-brand social posts that got results on LinkedIn and directed traffic to the NBG website.
